Christmas 2014

As usual, I apologize early for how crude my annual Christmas drawing can be. But please remember I'm on a limited schedule and only have time for so much detail.

This year, I wanted to go for some kind of actual scene as opposed to a bunch of characters standing around. Although I didn't exactly achieve that here I at least was able to try out a few dynamic poses here. So as usual I'll go down the list.


This is mainly a recreation of a very old drawing called First Kiss, which featured Sketch and Heather kissing for the first time. Seeing as I wanted to pull off a mistletoe kissing scene like I did last year, I figured this would be a fun picture to attempt.



This one's a basic pose. The cup there is a bit of an inside joke. Some of Joseph's old YouTube video blogs contained this gigantic beverage mug he used to own. I actually wanted to draw him holding it back in 2010 but I chose to have him holding a boombox instead as a reference to his love of video game music. I like to call that cup the "Ultimate mega ultra gulp."


Also a simple drawing of his new Zelda character, Terrik. I'm not very good at drawing the Wind Waker style, so I attempted to draw him in the more traditional Zelda style. Can't say I'm very good at that either.

I also drew a small drawing of my character's playing a video game. Milo schooling Collin at classic gaming. Although Milo's a bit technologically impared, he's actually very good at classic video games. So much so that it tends to agrivate Collin at times. Maria just finds his reactions ammusing.

But yeah, I did keep it kinda small this year since I was a bit pressed on time. Although I didn't get as many characters in here as I wanted to, I hope all of my friends here have a very merrry Christmas this year.
